Corps Security:
Corps Security, one of the leading corporate security company’s in the UK, is delighted to be supporting this years’ expedition with clothing.
Over 150 years ago The Corps of Commissionaires was founded to provide employment to returners from the Crimean War. The original eight men, one sailor and seven soldiers, all of whom had lost limbs in battle, were all found jobs. We have stayed true to our founding fathers vision and have maintained a long standing history of employing services personnel on their return to “civvy” street with opportunities throughout the company.
Corps Security, one of the UK’s premier suppliers of security and support services, is delighted to be the Civilian Guard Force providers, supplying security officers on each of the six Royal Marine Commando establishments in the South West. Corps Security took on the contract on 31 October 2009.
Over 140 Corps Security staff are deployed to provide gate security, pass issue, vehicle search and patrol duties (both foot patrols and CCTV sweeps). They work closely with the ever-present military guards within each of the Royal Marines and Army Commando Barracks to ensure that the integrity of each establishment is maintained at all times.
Corps Security takes great pride in sponsoring such an inspirational cause and wishes everyone involved the best of luck for their journey.
